Midnight Ride — Maduro
The ride itself.
Revere mounted up around ten in the evening on April 18, 1775, and was through Charlestown, Cambridge, and Lexington before the sun came up. Midnight Ride is the boldest cigar in the line. The one that earned the name. Dark, sweet on the foot, full enough to sit with rather than chase.
A Mexican San Andrés Maduro wrapper over a Habano Ecuador binder, with the same Nicaraguan filler core anchoring the line. Medium-full to full strength. Rich without going harsh, sweet without going dessert. The cigar you reach for when the conversation has slowed down and the lounge has emptied out.
